Minimum class requirements for karazhan

As the title suggests..

Warrior
Tank(MT):
12000 Armor, 12000 hp, 490 def., 15-30% Dodge/Parry

DPS:
1700 ap, 70 hit, 33% crit

Druid

Tank:
415 def with 3/3 Survival of the fittest, 12000 hp, 30% Dodge, 20k armor
(As suggested by Karthis)
DPS:
600 dmg, 15% crit (caster form), 75 mp/5, 75 hit

Heal:
+1000 heals, 100 mp/5

Rogue

1300 - 1400 ap, 90 hit, 20% crit
As suggested by mesczante

Priest

Heal:
6000+ health, 7500 mana, +1000 healing, 100 mp5

DPS:
6000 mana, +650 dmg, + 3-5% hit

Hunter

BM:
8000 hp, 6000 mana, 1450 ap, 17.5% crit, 75 hit

MM:
8000 hp, 6000 mana, 1750 ap, 17.5% crit 75 hit

Shammy

Resto:
950 - 1000 heals, 110 mp/5, 10% crit

Elemental:
+500 dmg, 20% crit

Enhancement:
1000 - 1200 ap, 20% crit, 8% hit

Mage

+600 dmg, 90 hit, 25% crit, 6000 hp and 7000 mana

Pally

Tank:
102.5% Total avoidance (dodge/parry/block)
490 def, 10500 hp, +100-150 dmg

Heal:
1000-1200 heals, 80-100 mp/5, 8000-9000 mana, 15-20% holy crit

Warlock

Affliction: 7000 hp, 6000 mana, +600 dmg, 90 hit

Destro/Demon: 7000 hp, 6000 mana, +600 dmg, 90 hit, 20% crit

The 1700 ap req for dps warrior is bullshit Since You need your hit rating capped at 92 IF your going for AP 1700 your going to loose alot of dps with only 70 hit rating Its better to cap hit rating and then foccus on strength ratter then gathering ap sockets since paladins have BOm which is better if you have more str Then Bok
The crit is okay Mine is around 30% But you have to take in mind that there are raids buffs also which will give you far more crit so you shouldnt go above 35% crit

these are the guidelines which we tried to follow in my old guild when we were gearing up for Kara:
Main Tanks (warriors, palas, druids)
- 490 Defense
- 12K AC (52% Mitigation)
- 12K HP Pool Unbuffed
- 15% Dodge
- 15% Parry
- 15% Block

Main Healers (priests, palas, druids, shamans):
- 1000 Healing
- 300 Regen (70 In Combat)
- 9K Mana Pool Unbuffed
- 6K HP Pool Unbuffed

Main Melee DPS:
- 275 DPS (Single or Combined Dual) Unbuffed
- 8K HP Pool Unbuffed
- ??% Hit Rating (About 150 for rogues, for a good dps)
- ??K AC (??% Mitigation)
- ??% Dodge
- ??% Parry

Main Caster DPS:
- 600 Spell Damage
- 6% Hit Rating
- ?? Penetration
- 300 Regen (70 In Combat)
- 9K Mana Pool Unbuffed
- 7K HP Pool Unbuffed

Main Ranged DPS (hunters):
- 275 DPS
- 7K HP Pool Unbuffed
- 6k Mana
- ??% Hit Rating
- 10% Dodge

Note: These stats are all un-buffed!


My stats are all over the required amount, and most of my gear is Kara/heriocs, but as a general aim, you should try to have all blues, from lvl 70 instances, and maybe an epic or two from the less hard heriocs, such as SP

i agree 1700 ap for a warrior is way 2 much.
hit capped is better(depends tho on fury or amrs warrior, since arms has only 92 needed orso and fury about 200-400 orso)
altho since this is a starting guild for melee dps atleast u should be hit capped for yellow dmg.

+ main thing i find, if we only got 1 pally in the raid evry dps get's Blessing of Salvation unless the dps wants 2 tank.

ohw and 1 other thing for hunter that wanna raid plz not 2 much MM specced,
BeastMasters tend 2 do much more dmg overal then MarksMan.

90 hit rating is not enough
its crucial that you are capped on hit rating depending on your spec
the cap for a fire mage is less than arcane and frost
it is also wise if you are fire or arcane to have the frost talent elemental percision
mana if you wanna do prince you are gonna need alot more i have 9k mana and still run out
but for all other than prince its ok

200-400 hit rating for Fury is waisted you need 95 hit rating= 6.25% which will get you 90% hits any put above into it will be waisted and will be to costly You should foccus on putting it into 30% crit and AP and Str
